ABOUT THE
ASSOCIATION
The Hazelnut Growers Bargaining Association (HGBA) was established in 1972. The association was created to protect growers from predatory pricing and give the growers a voice in the prices they received. The HGBA has surpassed 300 active members. The HGBA contracts to negotiate with cash Packers that represent an estimated 85% of today’s total crop.
